Surveying and Mapping is a basic component of practically all engineering projects. LAKE ENGINEERING has the experienced personnel and equipment to perform these services efficiently. LAKE ENGINEERING has combined an experienced, competent staff with the equipment necessary to efficiently complete all types of surveying services. In addition to GPS, LAKE ENGINEERING utilizes electronic total station and electronic data collectors. Field and laptop computers are utilized to electronically collect and compile data.
RESIDENTIAL and COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT
Today's
environmental concerns have created a need for re-examination of land
development methods previously employed. Emphasis is no longer placed on
development of a site as an isolated entity. The design of a site must relate to
the structures and activities on adjoining properties. The proposed development
should be viewed as part of the total environment. Analysis of a site should
consider topographic, hydrologic, geologic and general geographic features to
determine the "personality" of the site. LAKE ENGINEERING utilizes
this personality to formulate a design that will function in harmony with the
environment rather than imposing a predetermined plan upon a site.

Lake
Engineering has CADD and associated computer and software systems necessary to
provide our clients with the most efficient, professional services. Lake
Engineering's CADD and computer system is routinely upgraded to maintain the
highest possible quality service that our clients expect and deserve.
LAKE
ENGINEERING now has the capability to scan Architectural, Engineering and other
large (up to 36" wide by any manageable length) drawings or documents. The
drawings or documents can be scanned into 200 dpi, 300 dpi or 400 dpi black and
white TIFF (or other) images. The drawings can be digitally enhanced upon
request.
Scanned
digital drawings or documents:
Can be conveniently stored and referenced;
Can
be electronically shared;
Are not subject to damage due to handling;
Do
no deteriorate;
Can
be enhanced and manipulated;
Can
easily be edited (manually with rescan or digitally);
Can
easily be incorporated as images into documents or presentations;
Can
be printed on practically any printer.
I
am sure that you can think of many more advantages and uses for scanned
digital drawings.
